Amadores is a fantastic beach. We usually stay at Anfi del Mar just up the coast from there. Just to the other side,a 20 minute walk away is Arguineguín, where David hails from. Had a walk down there 2 years ago. It,'s just a typically quiet Canarian fishing village. What struck me was people living in corrugated shacks behind some restaurants. On the roofs of these shacks were satellite dishes. I don't even know where their electric supply could have come from.

More likely a move to Canary Rovers!!!!.
Madrid is as cold if not colder than Manchester at this time of year.....I should know cos I was there yesterday.

Indeed - 3 degree high today, min zero. Manchester a positively balmy 6 degrees!! Wish we got their summers though...
