After spending most of the season drooling over David Silva I tried to think of another player who was as talented and I immediately though of Sibbo. I have considered both players qualities and have found it really difficult to find any difference.

Both have a fantastic touch, can see game changing passes, have great technique, balance and knowledge of the game. Both work hard for the team and both are extremely consistent players.

I eventually came to the conclusion that Sibierski was a better player as he had one quality that Silva doesn't. He was unbelievable in the air.

So tonight when you crack open your beer/ wine/ milk raise a glass to a player who would get into any top team today...Antoine Sibierski

sibierski

Sibierski being ace in the air

Haha, I remember being in a pub before Villa away one season and hearing someone say ''If Sibierski was that good in the air he should have been a f*cking pilot'' - he became known just as 'the pilot' to me and my mates after that!

Why cant anyone ever have a serious debate on here?

-- Wed Apr 27, 2011 3:25 pm --

Silva is the poor man's Sibby.

Saw Sib at COMS the other week, was sat just behind me, can't remember which game (might well have been Wigan..).

Decent bloke, just a shit footballer.

Silva heads the ball roughly in the direction it was intended.

Where is the element of surprise for defenders?
