Apologies if this has already been posted...

Simon Hattenstone, IMO, is a regular poster on this board. I have my guesses about his username but I'll keep that to myself...

Anyway, Simon, you're pathetic. At a time when the media are foaming at the mouth waiting for an opportunity to slag us off...what do you...you join the frenzy.

Fuck you, you plastic, cockney, part time, City fan...you deserve a slap...

Seriously. What a prick.

I can't bring myself to level anything more. Unbelievable. He is not a City fan. Over on Mancity fans the greatest quote I have heard throughout this saga was made to 5 live.

accusations that we are ruining the game are rubbish. We did not invent this playing field, we are merely outplaying the others at the game they started

he says exciting times are beating utd twice last season

the same season we had frank as our chairman, the players that frank bought.

he slagged frank off to the hill, yet he enjoyed last season, when frank got us there

poor journalist

Ultimately, he claims to be a City supporter...can you ever imagine a Manchester City supporter, no matter what their reservations about signing ANY player, let alone a world class player, making the following statement...

I still can't believe Kaka will sign. I don't want to believe that one of the world's leading footballers would stoop so low as to join us.

Astonishing.

City fan my arse....

He is saying exactly what i feel. I should be excited but i feel like we are trying to buy success and that doesn't sit easy with me. Hope i'm proven wrong

Is this the same die hard fan who said he was no longer supporting the club when Frank took over? If so he is a joke. We dont need the likes of him supporting us anyway, let him hang around in his media circles sipping martini with his limp wrist. Tosser.

So you hope Kaka doesn't "stoop so low" as to sign for City?

You'd rather we didn't get above our station, and stick to signing cheap european journeymen, and trying to mesh them with the youth players who we are burning out by putting too much responsibility on them too early?

I want success but we need to build a team which i believe is what hughes is trying to do - but the money has become like a lead weight around his neck and he can't get the players we need. I'm sure you all agree we need proven premiership players, battlers and grafters so we dont get beat by the likes of wigan etc. Kaka & Robinho are luxury players but aren't going to get us out of the current mess were in. dressing room discontent wont improve when individuals are raking in huge wages & while there is a threat of being replaced by superstars half of them must be thinking why bother.

You are a disgrace. Every City fan, young and old, is cock-a-hoop by the current development. I would have thought bar none.

But clearly there is one.

Just one amongst, probably several hundred thousand.

You absolute arrogant arsehole.

He's not a City supporter in his own words.

So I don't care what he thinks about the club.

as above

Yeah, he slagged us off last year, then there was his article about watching Colin Bell take a leak from his mates bedroom (I've retained the ambiguity inherent in the original) window and how he got all excited...in a gay way.

And I want you to fuck off back to fred tissue.
