Simple question, are you walking out during West Brom? YES or NO?

Are you going to walk out during West Brom game in protest at ticket prices?

A season ticket cost could be split amongst the 19 home games so you are missing out. Think the whole ticket thing is blown out of proportion. The only way it'll change is when fans stop going, not attending and walking out early.

I'm going. But I bet many with season tickets won't be going. It's live on TV, 5.30pm kick off, and after the derby defeat many just won't bother. That's what you call a waste of a season ticket/match ticket. That's your opinion and you're entitled to it. No problem there. Personally I don't think it has been. TBH I've got a good deal on my PSG ticket. Season ticket holder and in the CL cup scheme. But for me it's not about myself, it's about every single City fan. We shouldn't be pricing out 1 City fan, let alone 1000's. Now I could be wrong, and If I am I will apologies, but if I see 1000's of empty seats against PSG in the 2nd leg, minus free and discounted tickets the club basically give's away, I will feel sick to my stomach, just like I did V Kiev. Especially if those ticket's could and should have been sold to genuine City fans at the right price. But hey, I'm not Soriano, or one of the many Exec's at City who make these ticket prices.

No.

Let's see what the scoreline is... It could gain support if we're losing.

But seriously, to people intending to walk out, I understand and sympathise with your feelings, but this action is going to divide the fan base and (probably) negatively affect the team.

Please don't give me "it's only a battle for 4th"!?

Surely other things can be done that will get the message across without doing the two things that are the antithesis of what defines supporting a football team.

We need to stick together and get behind the team.

Firstly.

I've always thought that's the best username on BM. Come on, tell us about it. :-)

As for sticking together, perhaps City should have thought about that before deciding on the PSG ticket prices. You can't stick together when you're surrounded by empty seats.

But yes, I accept your sentiments. And TBF, on the whole we've stuck by the club and the team over these last 7-8 year's since Sheikh Mansour bought the club, while we've swallowed trophies, season ticket and matchday ticket price rises, season after season. However, the overwhelming general consensus is enough is enough now. With the new PL TV deal about to start next season, a new CL deal, a new BT CL deal, new and improved sponsorship deals, it's about time the club started looking at season ticket and matchday ticket prices, and either freezing them, or better, reduce them.

To clarify my position. I do not earn a lot and have managed to get the money together, to take me and my lad to the game.
What with travelling and food on top of tickets, this will cost me in the region of £120. that is MASSIVE to me and i'm fucked
if i'm walking out after 60 minutes. Sorry if this seems selfish lads, but there you go.

No.

I'm all for letting the club know how we feel about ticket prices in general (I say in general because i don't have an issue with £40 for a champions league quarter final tie) but leaving a game early is one thing i just won't do. Hopefully the banners will get photographed and end up in a paper to give it some coverage. That's the only way they will listen. City care about their image, i believe it's the only reason Pellegrini is seeing out the season so if it's all over the papers and social media they won't ignore it.

Also..

Those walking out, what are you going to do when you leave? Go home? Stay on concourse? Congregate outside?

Absolutely. I agree with every word.... Apart from the username bit.. I like "Worst Case Ontario" personally... It's my favourite number. It's called the golden ratio amongst other things... It defines "perfect" proportion. Google it. -)

But this particular idea, although well intentioned, won't have enough support to be effective IMO.

I'm also worried a bit that leading up to the 60th minute or beyond, there's going to be arguments amongst Blues and we really don't want that.

Surely we can find a more original/intelligent/witty way to show the board and the world our displeasure than withdrawing support for the team. We can warn them and, depending on their response/the attendance vs PSG, carry on the protests from (even) higher ground... This isn't a one-off problem so it needs a concerted effort over time. We can't walk out on 60 minutes every game. Can we?

Btw I note that the poll is hovering around 62%... After your independent learning task you might understand why that proportion pleases me. It's the little things. ;-)

Are aall the guys claiming its cheaper to watch games in germany living over there? Or are they not factoring in the costs of getting on a fucking plane to get there? Also, people dont deliberately miss city games for this do they? If so then wow

What people say in this type of poll and what they actually do are two different things. Yuman nature innit?
