Cardiff City could be preparing a summer bid for Manchester City outcast Scott Sinclair, [football] direct news understands.

The Welsh club are currently in a relegation battle in the Premier League this season, and have brought in the likes of Wilfried Zaha on loan from Manchester United to try and aid their fight for survival.
However, new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is aware that he may struggle to keep Zaha next season and would like to bring in a replacement on the flanks.
Sinclair is seemingly a top target for the Norwegian, as he is likely to be made available for transfer by City after a disappointing couple of years.
After failing to make an impression at the Etihad Stadium following his move from Swansea City last summer, Sinclair is now on loan at West Bromwich Albion, where he has barely featured either.
The 24-year-old is still seen as having plenty of potential by Solskjaer, and could add something to his side whether or not they are still playing in the top flight next season.

Completely and utterly hopeless and useless excuse for a footballer. Signing him was an embarrassment and low and behold he's done precisely fuck all. Get rid and let's pretend this never happened

No, .... surely we tell Ole and Cardiff that Sinclair is a great player, has always been a Cardiff fan and is well worth 10 million quid or so of Tan's money....... ;-)

Sinclair sums up how much football has changed in the last 20 years.
Teams would by a top player from the championship (divsion 2 in old money) knowing they would do a job,
Today very few of these players make the step up.
He's totally out of his depth, not just in our side but in the Premier league.
If Solskaer is left in charge then I'm sure Scott will be the perfect fit for them and able to get them back up!
Worth £10m of anyones money!!!

Who?

Can't really blame Sinclair. Our system was width-impaired. To buy a player that enjoyed hugging the touch line and rarely receive it was simply unjust.

I reckon he'd probably have a had a shot under Pellegrini. A manager that teaches attackers to run into the spaces and make chances was desperately needed by the end of the Mancini era. Still the same he was a great manager. But the player simply didn't fit.

He wouldn't. He was way out of his depth. Just a shit, typical english winger. Will never cut it at a half decent team, anywhere
