Siouxsie & The Banshees thread

I loved the original Wild Things EP and the first album Feast. All the exotic sound effects and crashing waves etc as it was recorded in Hawaii.
Then Boomerang came out in 89 and the singles were good but wasn't too much for me there especially with Madchester kicking in.
Bought the 3rd album Animus something.... think I gave it one play....
I guess the EP had some influence on me as it spawned my user name lol
That's why I asked ; )

Threads like this make me wish I was born in 1972 rather than 1982.

I love a lot of the 90's bands when growing up. The Verve, Pulp, Radiohead, Grandaddy, The Charlatans, Oasis etc etc but music's greatest era is definitely the late 70's into late 80's.
Agreed.altho I'd give bit further..
1978-1982 The Golden years...across the board.

Arabian Knights was the track I ever heard from " Suzie and the banshees" as I used to write all over my school books. ...

That single still to this day just amazes me.The quality.the drums the bass.the noise..The Voice. An absolute goddess...

It was years later that I discovered the punk Siouxsie, and that was another watermark in my music knowledge.Watching the old footage of Make up Break up...at the Elizabethan club London
absolutely brilliant.Electric. Carcass.brilliant.
