Its Guinness time any day of the week.
Good old Joey claiming that Fergie was an undeniably great manager, but hadn`t a clue when it came to coaching,
"He couldn`t (Fergie) even lay out the cones !! "
So this is allegedly coming from Barton via ex-players.
So,was he a far better manager than a coach ?

Whatever he did, it worked.

Barton has serious issues.

Also oakie, your spelling of what I assume is someone laughing is somewhat peculiar, or is it someone having a shit?.

Good point although I don`t suffer from constipation myself.
Barton has an issue over everything and anything.Could be the new David Icke !

I actually look forward to the latest joeyism,he generally states what others want to but dare not......hes always good value and plays the pantomime villain perfectly.

This was a “headline” on SSN this morning, it staggers me that he gets so much attention & air time. Pillock.

Saying Fergie wasn't a good coach is like saying Albert Einstein wasn't a good rhythmic gymnast. He never claimed to be a good coach becuase, guess what, he WASN'T a coach. He was a manager. He managed players, and he did it better than anyone else I've ever seen (unfortunately). For coaching he had a group of professionals who specialised in the various aspects of the coaching job, just like many managers do. It's just Barton trying to say controversial things again because the media spotlight hasn't been on him for a while now he's playing in the same league as Yeovil Town.

And he would be correct especially over the last 5-10 years anyway, Ferguson never took a training session whilst Rene Mulensteen was there...he obviously picked the team and would observe training, but tactics and coaching sessions content etc was left to his staff, he delegated and was why he was successful as he adapted to the modern game and the biggest thing that prevented his involment later on was his age......this is why Moyse had no need for Mulensteen as he is a Tracksuit manager and is involved in most sessions
