Sitting with kids at the Etihad

Avoid East Stand block 308, as there is a right foul-mouthed git in there......me !

I'm not that bad, but I do shout 'Come on Blues' at regular intervals, join in with the singing and call the ref a cheating **** now and again as well as not giving a fuck when we're all pissed up.

In front of me is a block of seats for tourists and it's remarkable how many families never return after the interval, I can only assume that they have this sanitised view of what the PL is and the actuality takes them by surprise.

I’d recommend getting on the 1st tier (but not the south stand near the away fans… big reason is before the game (whilst the team is warming) it’s great to go down to the tunnel and ask players for autographs

my youngsters also used to wait for players after the game - they used to come between City @ Home and the athletics stadium and would often stop for photographs and autographs (not sure they still do this as it’s been a while since my kids we of that age)

we sit in the family stand and as some mentioned if there you will get the odd obscenity… so we had a simple rule is what you hear in the stadium, stays there and is not repeated at home :-)
