I served on a jury once. The others all thought guilty and I thought innocent. After much deliberation I got them all to change their minds. For some reason my memories of this are in black and white
It was damning, that only one baby died in the seven years following her removal. And when taken in context with the main evidence above, there is only one conclusion to make, and that is that she is guilty as charged.
I also don't hold sway with your hypothesis that the unit merely improved, after all the spotlight was cast on it. That would be akin to saying that the rest of the ward staff are guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of fifteen babies in one year.
Of course you werent, nobody is
If you actually get to the point of being seated, which isn’t all that common, there will be some questions asked about whether you could judge the crime that is alleged impartially. Just answer the questions honestly and politely. If you really feel this way the prosecutor is unlikely to want you on the jury.Of course you werent, nobody is
You never actually said whether you served on a Jury, seeing as you are so knowledgeable about ever body else’s experiences.Of course you werent, nobody is
On the assumption every Court is the same, the procedure is you go in to a room at the side of the Jury benches. A Clerk to the Court tell you what is going to happen in the Court during the selection process and asks the jurors a series of questions and tells you the defence has also the opportunity to reject you as a Juror I assume you either slept through this procedure or you forgot. Otherwise what would stop you sitting in on someone you recognised.I served as a Juror in 2016 and was never asked anything like that.
Dear me. What nonsense. If you actually get to the point of being seated, which isn’t all that common, there will be some questions asked about whether you could judge the crime that is alleged impartially. Just answer the questions honestly and politely. If you really feel this way the prosecutor is unlikely to want you on the jury.
Now who is not answering the question. Well have you or haven’t you served. I guess you were sat next to Mackenzie when he was doing his Jury service as his legal adviser.
I suppose it wasn’t Christmas was it and the other were all anxious to get home to their familiesI served on a jury once. The others all thought guilty and I thought innocent. After much deliberation I got them all to change their minds. For some reason my memories of this are in black and white
