Six-month old baby dies after being struck by vehicle | 33 year-old man charged

To be fair I don't believe the for campaign would be campaigning for everyone to be put to death, just the cunts. Problem with today's liberals is that they really aren't that liberal and they seem to try their utmost to stop others having a say by shaming them.

Wanting people to be ended because they commit horrific acts doesn't make you a bad person, as the late great Caroline Aherne used to say.

I don’t particularly want to get in to a debate on capital punishment. Other than to say, I’ve always been against it, and don’t imagine I’ll ever be changing my mind at this late stage of proceedings.

I’ve no problem if people disagree with me. As long as they are happy to admit it is for vengefulness and retribution, rather than acting as any form of deterrent.

In certain circumstances I'd be in favour of capital punishment, I've no problem whatsoever if people disagree with me and I'd be happy to alter my opinion if they can explain to me why if someone ends someone's life through greed or self satisfaction takes away for all time their right to life destroys people close to them then why they deserve to continue with their lives. PS having my neck snapped at 7am would make me think twice.

The Birmingham 6 and the Guildford 4 would have hung as would Stefan Kiszko.
Yes the criminal justice system has improved and hopefully something like the Kiszko case would not happen now but look the Stockport nurse, whose name unbelievably I've forgotten. Debate still surrounds her guilt, how do we decide who lives and who dies ?

Well start with them cunts who admitted killing their 10 year old daughter after systematically torturing and beating her

Knowing they faced the death penalty I doubt they would have admitted anything.. Then when they went not guilty at court it only needs 3 out of the 10 jury members to disagree with the death penalty and they walk free.

Unless they have changed things, a jury is made up of 12. My understanding also is this case was 2 out of the 3 denied any involvement in any case death penalty or not, so not quite sure what your points are.

Then you've not read my post properly.
Had the death penalty been in place an entirely different verdict might have happened.

We don't a judge does, I did say under certain circumstances, even when capital punishment was a thing it wasn't handed out like confetti. Doubtful whether this guy would have received it though.

He wouldn't. Full stop. He has not been charged with murder.
My point is how many wrongful convictions have there been since capital punishment was stopped ? The simple answer is too many.
We are debating on here Lucy Letbys conviction for killing those poor children in the hospital.
If anybody deserves to die by the hangman's noose it's her....... except many believe she is innocent.
On here we are also discussing the one man convicted of the Lockerbie bombing......was he a victim of political necessity?
If I was on a jury, with the death penalty in place, I do honestly think I'd say not guilty just in case.
The death penalty is simply wrong

And then again they might not. How can you possibly assume they would change their mind based on the punishment. The jury would never be asked to either determine the punishment or carry it out
