Mourinho is coming here. It would be typical City for Mancini to fuck it up by winning the league, Carling Cup & FA Cup.

Why are you so certain that "Mourinho is coming here"?

If you have contacts so close to the club that they know this... why didn't they mention Mancini taking over to you?

Right up until the day Hughes was sacked you were convinced he was the right man for the job.

No having a pop, just intrigued. I mean, you wouldn't want to get it so wrong for next season, would you? You would lose your credibility quicker than Zin Zimmer...

This!

So fooked off with hearing all this 6 months and top 4 or your out bollox.
ManC was clearly struggling with the English and then BLATENTLY AND CLEARLY said 'no, three years and a half' and everyone jumped on the were gonna get rid at the end of the season option.

If anyone is unsure then please please play back the interview because its there for everyone to hear and he has since gone onti Italian TV and corrected this again.

I reckon the only reason we didn't bin Hughes in the summer was because Mancini wasn't yet available.

Think he was always first (or at least most realistic) choice, and they only asked Hiddink and Mourinho just because they felt they had to at least see if they would consider.

Happy with Mancini. Always was. We don't need no Mourinho (anymore).

Why would Mancini leave a team he hasn't finished building, when he's on the verge of winning the league? ;)

To me, if there has been a mistake since the new owners took over it was not getting rid of Mark Hughes at the end of last season, all this kerfuffle would have been avoided.
They (the pundits and media) are shutting up now as it is clear City have already improved under Mancini tactically and player morale is dramatically higher, because they (the players) know Mancini will give them a chance, Hughes just blanked them if he didn't rate them!

So far as I can tell the kerfuffle is nothing more than a tiny bump in a long road
