Sky Blue Netting

The black netting looks total shite, please get rid City. I agree with some on here saying sky blue & white stripes, that would look class.

Glad someone else has the same view as me... I bloody hate the black netting! I know it's not a big thing but it really annoys me. White and blue would add so much more colour. Especially as the camera angle is so high, the ground looks lifeless sometimes.

Lifeless is a very good way of putting it. I feel the same as you, it's only a little thing but just thing it would look so much better with a bit of colour behind the goals.

I wonder how many people on this thread actually would have to look through the white/sky blue netting to watch the game?
Or is it a case that the supporters in the lower tiers of the North and South stands don't actually want to watch what's happening on the pitch?

Different colours and themes for each game.

For example when we play the rags their goal for both halfs will have blkack netting with the word "****" written in sky blue on the back.

Who cares what colour the netting is? I don't, but then I'm colour blind. Seem to recall the colour of the netting became Blue Print's raison d'etre 20 years ago, raising a grand to get it changed! It was boring then and it's boring now. Should Tevez bang a hat-trick in against the rags, who's going to care about the colour of the netting?

Now the continental style stanchions... I really don't like them. They're pointless. Let's have ones like we used to have at Maine Road.

Peronally I'd prefer it if we had sky blue netting, like the OP. But I'm not sure the Premier League would let us!
Then again, Arsenal and Bolton both have their repsective colours.

...and while we are talking about superficial things... It would be so much better to have a lower camera angle on the games. We currently have cameras on the third tier. Look at wembley, the emerates and places like Chelsea, they have a lower camera angle so that the crowd/colour/atmosphere are caught in each shot.

Ok, like I said this isn't that important, but we are in a thread about the colour of nets.
