One of my Sky boxes is saying it is not receiving a signal, tried unplugging it etc, but still nothing this happened before but it righted itself after a few hours, any tips?

We have multi room, the HD box in the other room is working, and they both come off the same dish

It's probably the second arial connector . Check the signal strength on input 2

Mine has a problem with recording. In order to actually record a program, I need to have the channel on when it starts if I want the program in full. Even if I have something set to record and I'm on a different channel, it won't begin to record unless I'm on the channel in question.

It's input 2 signal strength again probably.

Click on settings/signal

You have two signal strengths. Input 1 and input 2. If input two is very low then it's usually the problem. You have an input 2 arial that goes into the back of the box which might not be in correctly. I had the same issue.

Loss of signal, recordings wouldn't record that I had on the planner etc
