Sky Broadband

I'm with Bt at the moment but looking at it Sky are cheaper for b/b and calls, so thinking of changing.

Anyone use them, are they any good?

just signed up with thme 'excellent' skytalk,broadband,basic sky package think its £22 or £28 and that includes the rental they pay bt on your behalf,really good deal

I've just got the basic free t'internet from SKY, cant complain, speedy through sites and never had a problem. Brilliant if you don't download things.

iv got the sky+, calls and broadband and had it for about 6 months and you cant go wrong with it. not 1 fault and internet has never disconnected or broke

Same with me although with HD, deffo recommend Sky to anyone

I switched from Virgin (not the cable version) to Sky's free Broadband and the speed of 512k(i thought I was a long distance from exchange, as signal dropped sometimes) has shot up to 2meg and doesnt drop out. So Virgin were capping me!

Online billling is sound as a pound as well.

Do it!

ps: router is top class. much better than the belkin i was using. Comes set-up already.

Had it for a few years and never had a single problem. We went for the top package and it's phenomenally quick.

Can't fault them - had this for 18 months, not one dropped connection. Superb.

I'm with Tiscali myself (f*ck knows why though!) , but the bloke next door has the full sky package for his phone/computer/tv etc ....... he swears by it , says he's been really happy with it.
