United game coverage from 2.30 pm. City and West Ham 2.55 pm. Clearly Sky are billing the United game as their main game - but why ?

Sounds reminiscent of 1967/68 for those of us old enough to remember how the BBC treated the last game of the season back then.

I was only 6 then so before my time that one,the fact that every one of their cup games stretching back years has been on tv,mostly the BBC shows how the media are wedged in them,i am really keeping everything crossed we do our job and can watch their faces again like sergio daySounds reminiscent of 1967/68 for those of us old enough to remember how the BBC treated the last game of the season back then.

Ok we were ahead on goal average (as it was back then) going into the final game with United second. We were away at Newcastle, they were home to Sunderland. Basically we had to match or better United's result to be crowned Champions. As it happens they lost while we won of course but you have one guess where the Match of the Day cameras and the Championship Trophy were when both games kicked off....

It matters hugely.
My post related to the start time of the tv coverage not mattering, not the game itself. As usual, some people have taken it as some sort of snub that one channels coverage is at 2.30 and another is at 2.55.I'd say it matters quite a lot. We miss out on CL football and that potentially has a knock on effect for all of pep's 3 years.
