Sky F1

Im not too fussed about the bbc not showing all of the F1 races if its like last season then it will be boring to watch. Sky done well to get the best of the team from the bbc coverage and it will be just as good as bbcs coverage. The bbc will get the bigger ratings in for there races than Sky when they clash. As for HD did the bbc not show all of the last season races on BBC1 HD. At least they will be showing the Motogp still love my motorbike racing.

Regarding bbc and sport maybe by getting rid of the F1 it will open up more money for other sports. I am pissed that they have given up on the horse racing coverage apart from the National and Ascot thats all they are doing with a couple odd meetings.

I think the bbc will bid for the rights for the FA Cup and England games when they come up again. They will never get live premier league football rights not with Sky and ESPN about there is no chance. IF the Premier league were to bring in 1 bunch of games just for free to air stations to bid for then they would have a chance of them getting football sadly that will never happen.

Boxing would be great to see on the bbc the fighters they showcased in the past were some top class fighters that went on to fight in World titles. Sadly the Audley Harrison farce has stopped the bbc from backing boxing. Saying that if there is a stand out Olympian from London that wins a gold for GB maybe they would want to back them but thats another big ask. IF the bbc was to cut down on Eastenders then there would be uproar as for sport its not a big deal anymore.

The BBC has never shown a live Premier League game, and tries to justify splashing out on F1 where only 2 people from here actually do it and there is only one event a year here, an absolute waste of licence payers hard earned money.

Its 3 people Hamilton , Button and Di Resta. Saying that the rights for F1 is crazy money now.

watching f1 on the bbc is great fantastic coverage, all that will happen with sky is that less people will watch it - just like the ashes when it was on channel 4 every one watched it now its on sky less and less people watch it
