Sky - Mané Red card poll (official appeal rejected)

Hysel has been eradicated from history in the UK. A disgrace - those poor people should be remembered just like the 96
Not only the innocent people who died, but they also contributed to the lengthy ban of English clubs from European club competition's; arguably setting English clubs back many years. Never their fault though.

I thought there was a jeopardy attached to appealing to deter everyone appealing , and only those appeal who definitely felt hard done by such that if you lost the ban would be extended.......

am I wrong or does the mufc/ lfc exemption apply?

Crafty fuckers didnt appeal the red card, just tried to get the length of the ban reduced so it cant be classed as a frivolous appeal.

The fat stupid dipper in the office (fwiw i have nothing against fat stupid people, just dippers) has gone from claiming that it wasn't a red because they all agreed that it wasnt on MOTD (8.20 am on Monday) to sheepishly admitting that it was almost certainly dangerous (12.10 today) having been subject to a lengthy schooling on dangerous play by yours truly :-)

It is but watching football in a condemned wooden stand with a build of litter under it which had already been highlighted as a fire risk. Those fans in that stadium were equally let down by authorities , but you would never know it. In the same way hysel is removed from history so Bradford fades into the background as the only people wronged were the scousers at hillsborough. They were wronged it's atrocious what happened but Bradford and other wrongs have been diluted by this in terms of media attention.

Agreed but I think anger ought to be directed at the relevant authorities and the media for lack of coverage. Personally I find the way some of our fans rip into Liverpool for their so called "victim mentality" pretty unnecessary as they've had no choice but to fight the Hillsborough cover up all the way and I applaud the families for the perseverance they've shown.
Whatever your views on Heysel, Bradford or Liverpool's disgraceful reaction to the Suarez/Evra incident, i don't think it should be too difficult to find a way of making one's point without resorting to jokes about candles etc.
