Recently had some scaffolding put up outside my flat and the day it went up noticed that i have no signal. The guy downstairs seems to have no problem with his signal and his dish is only 1 metre below mine and is also within the scaffold, spoke to sky and they said that there is nothing they can do as the scaff poles cause interference with the signal. BUT somebody has told me that if the dish was put on the scaffold i might get a signal, other problem is the work is being done privately and all flats are paying for roof to be repaired and this will take 6 weeks so its not a council issue, anyone no a solution as i think i might throw myself off the scaffolding if i cannot resolve this, cheers all.

if u have a sky package cant u watch sky online?

yes, but you don't get all the channels. my sky+ went awol a few weeks ago and i tried watching things via sky website but i couldnt get all the channels, i had to go to itv and channel 5 websites for programmes on those channels.

If your dish is on a u bracket they can be swung out so the dish is further from the wall then you'd have to re align but only horizontally otherwise ensure there's nobody (apart from a rag) underneath you when you jump.

If you subscribe to Sky Sports you get it by Sky Player you just need to register
