Tune in tonight since its about our boys -Time of their Lives - 'The Maine Men'. Being 22 im sadly too young to remember these good old days but i'll still be watching. See below description from Sky Sports Website

"Faces of football past reminisce about their playing days with Jeff Stelling. Mercer's Maine Men: Francis Lee, Mike Summerbee and Tommy Booth look back over their time at Manchester City"

But Jeff Stelling never played for us.

Noticed that earlier and set a reminder to watch it ! these guys were before my time but looks really good ! Legends !!!!

I saw this in Summerbee's column in the programme. Cheers for reminding me.

Im also 22 so have only ever heard stories about how good we were a long with snippets from games. Should be good.

Can anyone shed any light on why Colin Bell isnt named? Did he decline?

I don't think him and Franny Lee 'get on' do they?

they all interview really well, franny lee especially. he could easily be a dead pan comedian.

He was a dead-pan comedian.

Don't you remember his time as Chairman?

i believe that franny left him out the picture a fair bit when he was chairman which Bell took great offence to - so they dont get on anymore
