Have sky bb. Never activated ss5 as didn't want to be tied in for 2 years. Just turned to ss5 and its showing just like other channels with no activation required.

I rang Sky saying I didn't want to extend my broadband contract and they said if you waited until mid August it would activate automatically to existing Sky subscribers and your broadband contract would be unaffected; and sure enough it was just on one day.

I'm not on about the broadband, it's t he cost of having sky sports, you only keep the free broadband if you keep up the sky sports subscription for the whole term. And as sky only have chimps league this season not next you are tied to sky without chimps league next season.bluealf said:shinpads said:Activated it via the sky website, without adding the broadband . Well we have Sky broadband and the massive con part of signing up for 18 months meant we now have free broadband.
Huge con that, Sky the biggest c**ts in the world etc etc

It's possible, I have done it.
I just called them up and said I didn't want the broadband and that was it.
Just bought my 24 hour pass (code) on eBay for £5.Bluep*ss said:Bought NowTV from Sky last April - £10. Paid £6-99 to watch match tonight.
