With Argentinian parents old flower, it can be born anywhere and still be Argentinia (and call IT Katie, it sounds better).

Absolutely spot on.

Not at all. Baby is not in intensive care. He should be back. The baby could have been born in Manchester.
As far as i'm aware she was visiting family when she had complications and had to have the baby over there. In any case in these situations your family will and should come first.

Just been on an interview with Mancini. SSN said before the interview that Mancini admitted that he has no idea where Tevez is. Then the clip comes on and Mancini says nothing of the sort.

Fucking tossers!

Eh?

I watched it on SSN and he clearly says "We want Carlos to come back. He's been gone 8 days and we don't know where he is.Maybe he is on a plane, we don't know."

The interviewer then asks him if, as City manager, he cant DEMAND Tevez comes back.

Mancini then says "We HAVE demanded he comes back.We need him"

If I was Tevez, caring for a premature baby, and I heard that, I'd be fucking fuming. One of them is going imo.

You might well be right ...... it seems a risky business to me tryin' to back temperamental South American players into a corner .....

of course you can't allow players to dictate things when you're a manager , but it's not so long ago that Tevez was questioning the amount of football that he was playing , and he could just decide to call it a day altogether !

Yeah. that's the spirit. Don't try and have rules or discipline unless they don't like it and take their ball home. These people are paid a king's ransome every week and leaving the current affair behind as the baby's health etc is disputed in the papers. You cannot have a system in place where by, just because a player is "fireery" or "temperamental" then you treat them with kids gloves. You think Clough would have? You think SAF does? Or Jose?

ok ok ok. If the baby is in intensive care then i admit as having a child who as been ill and been in a bad situation he needs to be there.

If reports like people are saying the baby is not in intensive care he should be back to play for us!

Im not really bothered that he is from another country and wants his baby to born in his native country fair play, but baby born and back to your job?

If i said to my boss me and the mrs are Danish and we want the little born there and ill be gone for a few weeks im sure the reply would be " ye you go son, not sure if your job is here when you get back but crack on!"

Footballers again not living in the real world imo.

You have a job to do Mr Tevez and its getting city as high as we can in the league. Your on good cash for what you do so get on with it.

Whilst i can see what you're saying , and i agree with it in principle , you've got to remember that Jose , and Fergie have both lost good players in the past because they've stood up to them ........ and we could do the same with Tevez , he's latin , and he's unpredictable .... a bit like Robinho.

That's the point here ..... and it's a fine line that both manager and player are treading ...... it could all end happily , but there's no guarantees .

I agree. Better for Tevez to spend three weeks in Argentina and come back a happy man, than two weeks in Argentina and come back a disgruntled and worried dad.
