Sky Sports News - mancini On David Villa

Not sure if he'd improve us that much.

Tevez and Adebayor both scoring more than enough and i'd like them to have a little more time working together as a partnership. Santa Cruz also looking decent imo. Then we have Bellamy aswell as Robinho possibly returning, not to mention Caicedo. Even Jo could theoretically return.

Sure he's a great player, but at 28/29 i don't see the point in paying a vast amount of money for him when we have more than an adequate strike force. I'd rather us invest just as heavily in the centre of midfield and right back positions to be honest.

Like i said, class player, but i don't think he'd be any more effective in England than Adebayor or Tevez. He's hardly going to come as anything other than first choice, so personally i'd pass on him.

I'd much prefer Torres. I know people say he's injury prone but that's down to the Dippers and their reluctance to let him go and get some proper surgery, such is their desperate need for fourth spot. Well that's the rumour, at least.

villa is quality but he would struggle in the premier league

he wouldhnt handle the physical nature of it, or the pace of it
