If this is true then Hughes is a gonner. I've been totally disillusioned with the calibre of players we've been linked with recently, they are Premiership journeymen at best and NOT the kind of players a top Prem side should be even considering buying. I'm not too happy with owners/chairmen chosing and buying players without the managers input, but when the managers input leads us to Craig Bellamy, Stephen Warnock, RSC and Matthew Upson someone needs to step in and protect the club from him.
