Quite right, were are fault for filling the grounds every week, buying stuff from the shop, subscriptions to TV stations. The proof is in the pudding, rags moaning, threatening boycotts but they still fill the swamp. Even though England have been under achievers for over half a century fans still turn up at Wembley, pay a fortune to get in, beer like piss, fish and chips at silly prices. Just turn it off, dont go or buy the shirts etc etc. After the WC if no one turned up for 1st game at Wembley the FA would have to have a serious rethink about the state of football in this country.

The TV money has made the top players more wealthy than any of us would have imagined pre 1993. None of this money has been pumped into grass roots or the lower leagues. We are now paying the price for wasting the money on wages rather than on football itself, the top clubs and the FA are to blame for that. Certain players regard the captaincy as a way of increasing thier earning potential rather than doing it for the honour of leading your country.

Good, I'm glad we have no England spirit, I hope we get knocked out next game, less games for a half fit Barry to play in and get himself injured for the new season. personally i have always felt it is sky,s and the fa,s massive manipulation of the top four cartel, sorry i mean the big four cartel, that is the main problem, i have felt that they have made sure that these clubs finish by any means winning the majority of the games in the premiership, giving them the rub of the green with the decisions, now with the majority of these players making up the click in the england side, thus when playing at international level they find it a lot harder due to not being able to put people like atkinson webb walton etc under there managers players pressure and scrutiny, it is just a theory i have been studying and talking about to my city pals for a few years now, at the end of the day it is all about sky cards and the big four sell most of them, i totally agree that sky are and have been damaging englands chances but there again they have been ruining the premiership for the past 18 years, i have never seen a company as jealous as sky because murdoch didn,t get the rights to televise the world cup and charge the whole country to watch it?
