Morning everyone,

Having recently got rid of sky tv, ive been looking at alternatives such as the sky f3 boxes on ebay etc.
Before i go for anything I was just wondering if anyone on here had any good advice regarding these?

I had one for a while and just used it for the footy. The planner is obviously no where near as good as sky's and it wont record unless you plug an external hard drive into it. It also stutters every now and then depending on the quality of your ccam provider. I never found one that didn't.

If it's just for you then it's enough to get by and save tons of money. If for the family then i'd look at a better box/setup.

EDIT: I had an F5 not F3, but assume it is very similar.
