while Bayern's move was a last minute decision, we've been closely tracked down last week because everyone knew we would try to do something similar. additionally, Bayern fans were backed by their club, while we were trying to do that on our own. not much that i can do now.

Bayern fans were not backed by the club - but kept in contact with the officials all day if there might still be a possibility to get in the stadium. I do not think the club knew about the skyscraper prior to the match. And they kept the story with the skyscraper totally secret as they were scared of opposition fans. So the travelling to the skyscraper etc. was totally secure - and when they got out of the building there was security there to get them to the bus (I guess that that was something the club then took care of when they got to know about the story).

The problem is the security - that functions well the first time when nobody knows about it - but it might get difficult a second time. Every club has its radical lads - and they are not allowed in the stadium, too. When Bayern played there were a lot fans outside the stadium singing there...

Bayern did it - and the English papers told that you guys will try the same... - so there is no possibility to make something like this in secret again...

Let just 100 oder 200 hooligans try to "have some fun with the City fans" in or near the building...

On reading this thread i am absolutely gutted for you all. I am also gutted that I am not with you as this is my kind of trip when you need to "Roll a Six"
If the police now know surely if you all arrive on the bus and are dropped off at the Skyscraper, they could secure this area and they will know that all Blues are together.
When you are at the airport on your return journey, please could someone write a detailed account of this fantastic adventure as I certainly want to hear about it.
