If I was going to Moscow and hadn't missed a live game in X amount (some of the guys I've spoken to haven't missed a match in an insane time), I'd pay it. That view isn't too bad compared to Newcastle / Barcelona. I'd rather that than Brighton's old ground with the running track or having a low roof blocking my view at Everton, at least you can see both of the goals and from above.

This. It's the not missing a live game thing - cost / difficulty doesn't come into it. On a much smaller scale I hadn't missed home or away in 5 years when we played Luton in the time of their away fan ban. Paid over the odds outside, watched a 2-2 draw I think - Redmond scoring seems to ring a bell. And I think we were 2 up. Anyway, all the fucking around was worth it. As would this be for the truly dedicated.

UEFA have just confirmed that they will have an official in the skyscraper to ensure the drinking of alcohol within view of the pitch is not taking place during the game.

City have also confirmed that Jamie Oliver pies will be available just in case anyone wants to feel a true sense of injustice about paying over the odds.

No alcohol at all in UEFA matches, never mind in view of the pitch - unless you are part of the privileged layer.
