I was recently diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnoea with an average of 82.6 events per hour.
No wonder I’ve been absolutely knackered for the past few months!
I don’t actually fall asleep during the day (unless I lie down lol) but it fatigues me so much that I’ve had to take time off work as I was struggling to get through a full day.
I’ve had my CPAP machine around a month now and am still struggling to keep it on for more than 3 or 4 hours at a time due to waking up in a blind panic ripping it off my face!
Mine is definitely linked to recent weight gain (went from 14.5 stone to 18 during Covid) so in a way it could well be the kick up the arse I need to sort my lard arse out.
…if only I had the bloody energy lol!
I lost alot of weight and still struggle to sleep
