I see that the French protesters have gotten what they wanted with regards to this fuel tax, smashing stuff up works for those across the sleeve anyway. We have had water cannons, snipers on buildings and tear gas killing old people but they've all gone back to their quaint little bread slicing mustache twisting lives.

Or have they?

Lads, it's France.

Indeed, H, 'tis La Poubelle France, and Empereur Macron has done what he so desperately didn't want to do and for what he has criticised previous Presidents - giving in to the street mob. Anyway, let's hope the fuel tax gives us a Summer of trouble free driving. Emanuel, save euros by taxing those scrimshanking bastards in the Assemblée Nationale!

Yep. They got a taste for it a few centuries back and never really got it out of their systems. Often think the Irish could borrow a (very small) leaf out of their books though, without the smashing up innocent businesses part.

As much as I dislike French people in general for being shoulder shrugging, garlic munching, moustache twirling, wine drinking, cheese eating surrender monkeys, I do admire and applaud their willingness to stand up for their rights and not limit themselves to say "Pah!" on le Twitter.

You just know they'd have waved a white flag and run if Macron had come out and challenged them to a square go though.
