Smoking

What with all the moaning about the food, the car parks, the pre match entertainment etc, it was nice to see the club got one thing right, deploying loads of stewards in the bogs to stop the half time smokers (bogs near 110).

You could actually go for a piss without having to walk through clouds of smoke, there were a few bad tempered blues about, but I would say far more happy ones

I hope they keep it up throughout the season

It genuinely defeats me why anyone would risk a ban for a ciggie. Ok I know its an addiction but to go circa 105 minutes without a fag
is hardly the end of the world. What do these people do when they are on a flight to Spain or possibly beyond?
I've never smoked so possibly I genuinely don't understand to be fair.

They could have made it clear to us that there was no smoking via a tannoy message or something before doing this ;-)

Perhaps that's why the banners have been taken down, are they putting up LG tellys all round the top tier where the banners were with no smoking symbols on the screens?

Whilst they said that electronic cigarettes are also banned, there was no mention of those ridiculous large oboe-like things or electronic hubba-bubba pipes, which I now assume must be acceptable. I shall be opening a shisha stall next week...

I am an ex smoker so I do know what it is like, the thing is if smokers see one person light up they will all follow suit, but like you say it's not a long time to go without a ciggie

Smoking is only half - banned on the Spirals in the Colin Bell Stand.

A Showsec bloke came down and the Smokers had to be on the inside of the barrier but not on the side of the barrier facing the outside of the Ground.

One of the weirdest requests I have ever had but as an addict I was more than happy to comply.
