Sneidjer v Balotelli

Slightly off topic but today proved that Sneijder cannot play the central midfield role anywhere near as well as he plays the number ten role. If the rags (or anyone else) think he is a Scholes type player then they are very wrong.

agreed.

yeah have to agree. balotelli would have been slated for that.

Sneijder would've been slated to if his manager dragged him off straight after. Ballo's slaughtering was down to mancini's reaction IMO. And I would prefer nasri ahead of sneijder seeing him play a full 90 against a prem side.

You may well have a point regarding Bobbys reaction, but the spin peddled by the media was way over the top.
I've read a few match reports from todays game and not one of them says anything like, "Sneidjers ill judged and half hearted attempt at a schoolyard glamour goal showed a complete lack of respect for the opposition and the paying public, as well as handing City their 2nd goal on a plate."

In fact the only mention of him is in the mail where he's described as 'majestic'.

It would have counted as a shot on goal which would have decided the trophy had it been a tie. Probably a manager's decison.

Art thou insane?

A tie could not win Inter the cup at all because they were a point behind us, in any event bar defeat and a 0-0 draw, City were winning the cup.

is this a clarkie?

Wrong at 0-0 Celtic were winning the cup on 8 points.

I don't really think you can compare the two. For starters, I couldn't see where Hart was at the kick off. For all I know he could have been farting around out of his goal. Secondly, he at least kicked the ball whilst facing the goal in a genuine attempt to score rather than preferring the showboat trick to actually scoring a la Balo. Thirdly, we showed him what we thought by pretty much scoring from the resulting goal kick about 20 seconds later, so if that didn't say "That'll show you", nothing would!

ur gonna lose
man utd is better and hernandez will score 25+ and balo will score 10 +5 red cars

According to The S*n and Daily Hate Mail, Mario did disgrace himself again today. His passive chat with Mancini as he went off was "another bust-up" and make up the main content area of their coverage of our insignificant 3-0 win over Inter.

yes they are. his best position is the position that Rooney currently plays.

Really dont what all the fuss is about Hernandez. yes he is a good finisher and has bags of pace. But that is about it. His on the ball skills are seriously lacking.

Bang on. Cracking striker when teams sit deep and let them create chances, but goes missing all to often when they don't have the ball. When they played Newcastle at SJP last year I genuinely didn't know he was playing until he got flagged for offside sometime in the second half. The Champions League final proved he's not too wise to the offside trap either.
