Sneijder would've been slated to if his manager dragged him off straight after. Ballo's slaughtering was down to mancini's reaction IMO. And I would prefer nasri ahead of sneijder seeing him play a full 90 against a prem side.

You may well have a point regarding Bobbys reaction, but the spin peddled by the media was way over the top.
I've read a few match reports from todays game and not one of them says anything like, "Sneidjers ill judged and half hearted attempt at a schoolyard glamour goal showed a complete lack of respect for the opposition and the paying public, as well as handing City their 2nd goal on a plate."

In fact the only mention of him is in the mail where he's described as 'majestic'.

If he signs tor us all the anti-city hacks will soon be slating him

I hope you've clarified whether that is including all competitions or not. Those rags are crafty cunts who will try and claim victory even in the face of defeat. I could actually imagine them having a headline in the summer similar to that in american papers last year. Manchester United win against Barca 1-1.

I think that after a few dodgy kicks by Hart in the first half Sneijder staretd to think that Joe was a dodgy keeper or soemthing. Within 5 mins of the first half he'd had 3 long range efforts, inc the one from the half way line and they were all very poor efforts

Neither the incidents, or the players, are really comparable. Sneidjer is an experienced pro who has proved his ability over the years and earned the respect that allows him to show off or try something cheeky now and then. Mario is an immensely talented, but immature man, who is seemingly intent on proving Mourinho right when he said "he only has one brain cell"! He needed to be pulled off, it is all part of the learning/maturing process. When he adds a bit of common sense to both his game and his life he will become a great player.
