Where would he play?

His best position is behind the striker so we can't just put him next to Yaya in midfield because we will get over run every single game.

Won't really offer anything to the team we don't already have so its a no from me.
Never watched him before Inter but there he played as a CM alongside Cambiasso. I don't want Sneijder but hes the type of player we need especially if we want to succeed in Europe.
Well Cambiasso is a superb defensive mid so it works, I for one wouldnt limit Yaya to a defensive role to accommodate Sneijder.

Sneijder...................Barry

...............Yaya.................

Although at present Yaya hardly plays an advanced role he just sits alongside Barry/Garcia. So signing Sneijder would allow us to play Yaya more advanced.

He hasn't played for about 3 months. By the time he's fit enough for the premier league Yaya will be back
Quality player and we bought Barry at a similar age

Don't think he'd be a player we would look at as we have Silva and Nasri, but could be ideal for Man Utd. They bought RVP at 29 and offered him a fortune so why wouldn't they finally move for Sneijder. They need cover for Rooney

Too old and injury prone. Wants hideously high wages - so would make us more vulnerable to fair play issues and inhibit us buying better players with a sell on value - which sneijder hasnt.

He,s 28

AC Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is considering his future in Italian football in the wake of a racial attack which prompted him to walk off the pitch during a friendly this week.

Would we? COULD we after his spineless brother's stellar time with us...

Has turned into a footballer since he left Spuds though

Plus... we need more tough stickers since Nige left...

Boateng has greatly improved as a footballer since moving to Italy. A goid footballer. However, I couldn't see him fitting into our team.

I think some of you are underestimating how good Sneijder is. He's better than Nasri, that's for sure!

So am I ....................

-- Sat Jan 05, 2013 2:32 pm --

Hes really turned his career around but hes injured a helluva lot. He pretty much quit ghana because he couldnt take the amount of games...even though he had rarely played for them since the world cup.

Inter have accepted a bid for Sneijder from Galatasaray. 10 mil euro, so just over 8 mil pounds. God knows how his wages are.
