Shame to see him go to a small league like the Turkish league and fade away into obscurity. Mercenary after one big payday doesn't want to challenge himself.
 
I reckon he'd do a job when silva is tired and nasri out of form, esp playing him behind 1 front man in away games. We can get him on the cheap too and rub utd faces in it at same time!

A loan deal at best for us at this stage of the season which Inter don't want, as they want to sell him.

I think he could still offer a great deal....for me there is no doubt that he is a class player and would make a big difference to the overall strength of our midfield. The rumours are that United are in talks with his people today and he obviously does not want to play in Turkey. I suppose it all depends on how much he is willing to reduce his wage demands....but I sure hope United don't get him as he has a good 4 or 5 years left injury permitting.
