Sneijder

If he's willing to lower his wage demands, he'd be perfect for Liverpool. Him together with Gerrard and Suarez up ahead would be very good.

Gerrard plays a deep lying role these days so its doubtful he would be playing in defence

Regardless he isn't willing to lower his wage demands which is why he is a bout to join a 6th rate league near the middle east

Just sounds stupid to me. Maybe it's time to for him to realize he isn't all that anymore. It'll be interesting to see what happens to him.

As for him in a Liverpool side, I was thinking more like this:

--------------- Back five -------------------
----- Gerrard -- Lucas -- Allen-----------
--------------- Sneijder --------------------
---- Sturridge ------- Suarez -------------

Looks decent enough on the screen at least. :)

I dont think it sounds stupid being paid £100,000 a week more to go to Turkey, I call that great business sense

Problem is Liverpool have already just binned off a top midfielder in Sahin

If it was his business sense guiding him, he wouldn't be screaming for a PL club to pick him up. I'm saying his waaay to high wage demands is preventing him from getting a move to the PL, and thus increasing his chance to be a part of the Dutch national side next WC. And if that is what he really wants then he should be willing to lower his price tag.

Galatasaray club official Semih Haznedaroglu's has admitted that the club are still waiting for a reply from Wesley Sneijder over a potential move to the club. "We can’t force him to come here if he doesn't want to. Perhaps he prefers to play in the Premier League," he told Bugun.

"He has to give us an answer as soon as possible because we have done all we can. Perhaps he’ll give us an answer today, but all this delay isn't ideal. All this waiting is no good for us and we’ll look for an alternative. It was the same situation with Kaka. We did everything possible without any success."

"We can understand that there is no rush from Sneijder, but we have done our job. We've got an agreement with Inter and made the player an offer. We need a decision from him, a yes or no."

Wasn't that supposed to be last week he was going to make a decision in 24 hours?
