Snooker

Im no snooker expert, what do they actually mean by tighter pockets? Are they smaller than they usually are?
I was under the impression that snooker tables are made to strict dimensions, is this not the case and they change it up now and again?
One of the experts (Davis, Parrott or Murphy) was explaining how even though the pocket widths will be standard, things like a lack of or less chamfering on the table bed at the pocket can cause the ball not to drop like other tables, or the shape of the cushion as it meets the back of the pocket. I used to play on a club table many years ago and legend was nobody had ever made a break of 50 or more on it even though the same players did so elsewhere, so I guess different manufacturing quality can also cause problems.

I’m finding this a bit like watching a documentary about car crashes. Not that entertaining and probably all a bit sad for Jones, mistake after mistake. If I wanted to watch a disaster I may watch the rags defence at 8

If Kyren wins the first three frames and thus the title… they’d have to throw an impromptu exhibition frame due to a session needing a minimum of 4 frames…

18 10 likely, can’t see Jak Jones stringing a break together to win a frame. Looks knackered and disheartened
