Haha, I love the term "grabbing bastard" the last place I worked at was full of them. I've done my fair share of it, but some of them take the piss.

Thank fuck it's snowing, had some winter tyres fitted just before Christmas and the weather turned nice pretty much within the hour.

Was cold as fuck as I stood outside the tyre place - as soon as I got in the car to drive away the sun came out and the temperature outside went up about ten degrees. Was thinking I'd wasted my money.

So I'm getting my moneys worth now and driving smugly past other BMW's that haven't got them on and are skidding all over the place.

I'd always find someone and a reason don't worry ;-)

They're one of those things that you look at and think 'mmmm should I buy one/some, cos it's a lot of money and I'll be pissed if they don't get used but if I do need one/them and I haven't got them I'll be pissed I didn't get them' - I'm thinking fire extinguisher in the van/car/camper - there's a system that's about £300 and goes in the engine bay - saved a lot of VW camper owners a lot of money/heartache but if you fork out all that money for one and it's never called into use........., CO2 alarm, first aid kits - they go out of date after so long, suppose you could say these home emergency insurance policies or appliance breakdown cover.........

I'm not normally arsed as just put a pair of shoes/boots with grip on. I currently have a fractured shoulder though so am a little concerned this time. Balance is off with one arm in a sling and don't want to think about the pain if I fell on it.

We always park near the centre and walk in. I like that walk but yeah, that is an option I may consider.
