Just checked the weather report from the local ski hill, 25" in 48 hrs...face shots here we come
 
It's that time of year again! White stuff won't stop coming down, looking like a white Christmas.

Been quite mild this winter, only hit -6. Last couple of years been down to -24 at this time of year with 24-38" of snow.

It's dark at 3:30pm and when I say dark, I mean pitch black dark as there are few street lights in the Village and even less on the highway. Sunrise is about 8:00am.

We have similar Winter daylight hours as that in Manchester, we're actually further North (53° North here) than you are. But we are warmer in the Winter because of the gulf and jet streams.

I've been to Lumby! Visiting Tolko. Drove up to Kamloops, across to Lumby and then back through Kelowna. Fantastic couple of days "work".

Stockholm had 2-3" on Sunday, ust enough to make it look Christmassy withour having to dig the car out. Been absolutely no wind either so the trees are still covered, Should stick around until xmas too,
