Snow

I live half way up a steep hill. No gritter has been anywhere near us. It’s a sheet of ice.
Getting to my docs appointment today was a nightmare.
Council tax? A joke.
Now you see, you are just a moaning old bugger.
A bright, cheerful, everything is right with the world would have said.....
'I live halfway down a steep hill, it's a sheet of ice, getting to the doctors was ace.*

*You're going to spoil my post by saying your doctors is uphill. Don't you dare.

Car wouldnt start in this this morning. Hoping it's just the battery needing a jolt..

Odd , no snow here in Oldham. Looked on flightradar and you can see the snow ploughs active and at least one plane circling over Yorkshire waiting

Minus 8 for us and more snow falling. Secondary school shut but nobody told the bus driver it seems as just seen it go past. Primary school open but the traffic was gridlock all the way through our village, just not moving.
Be more informative if you mentioned where you actually are?

The milk on our doorstep this morning was frozen and pushed the lid off with a column of ice.

Contrary to the weather forecasts I think today is the coldest day of the current cold snap. Car is properly covered and ice for the first time.

I've been following this on the Daily Mail website. Apparently there have been sightings of this thing called "ice" all over the country. In Ireland some people had to push a car that was stuck in some snow.

#EndOfDays.

Had to climb out on the garage the roof at 530 this morning, the condensation pipe from the boiler which is massive had frozen, took 3 kettles of boiling water to melt the stuff out the end so the boiler would work. I’d noticed the water freezing but didn’t think it would last this long and would eventually melt.
