So do the Arsenal fans get away with their behaviour then?

At Sheff United two years ago one of there players literally celebrated in my face after sliding into the barrier whilst crossing for their first goal (I was on the front row). Clearly what I should have done is lob a half eaten sandwich at him as this is clearly the path to justice.

Always supported him!!!! you having a laf you were booing him everytime he touched the ball, and that was while he was playing for the arse!

and then you go on all game shouting shit about his mum being a whore! if you did that to me for 90 odd mins i'd have twatted you and broke your fucking neck! all he did was slide on his knees!
all the biased cockerknees need to get a grip and own up you were as much apart of what happend as ade!

You're confused. Our fans started booing him when he tried to get a move away (contridicting himself on TV in two different interviews within 4 minutes), getting his wages doubled - and then doing fuck all for the season. Then blaming everyone but himself.

The Ade you guys seem to have now, is the one that was loved - that not only got goals, but worked hard. I wonder if in a couple of seasons, you will have the same view of him now.

Ade should retract his apology. And as for the stamp, Van Persie shouldn't have had his twat of a head in the way in the first place.
LMFAO

the only bad thing about Adebayors celebration was the reaction from the Arsenal fans. At least 3 'missiles' thrown at him and more than one steward given a crack. Adebayor is NOT responsible for their actions.
Next time the away fans try to get on the pitch and attack one of our players i'd like to see the whole team pile into 'em a dish out a good twatting.
I agree, Ade should not be banned for what the Arsenal fans did. It's not like he swore at them *coughpersiecough*, and being a former player he probably has more respect for the fans than anyone else there.

Maybe City should simply refuse to let as many Arse fans in next time?
(Fantasizing 100% now) Maybe they could take the names of the people in those seats (They must have it on record somewhere, transactions and shite) and ban them from entering the stadium?

Eh, so many things we could come up with, not many that will be put into action..

I dont condone the way the Arsenal fans behaved at all.

Seriously though, is Adebayor the worlds most clueless ****? Surely, surely a professional footballer would be aware of the reaction that his 'celebration' would likely cause.

I am bemused by peoples attempts to defend it, it shows a stunning lack of awareness.
Have you ever seen the flim "The Accused" with Jodie Foster? You sound exactly like the kind of person who believes a female of questionable character deserves what "she gets". You know in the old days, a practical defence to rape, was to introduce evidence the woman was "loose", or behaved in a provocative manner.

Today? Surely any young female that chooses to walk down a street wearing a short skirt and revealing top would be aware of the reaction this is likely to cause among some, and, in consequence of showing a stunning lack of awareness, deserves anything that comes her way for being so provocative and inflaming the passions. Indeed, she ought to be the one sent down to teach here a damn good lesson.

The bitterness, jealousy and vile behaviour of Arsenal fans on Saturday and since then has even surprised a cynical old lawyer like me. As someone else said, it is very disturbing that the media seem to be excusing, and so implicitly condoning, the violent conduct of your fellow fans. Even more worrying for you should be the spectre of Ade's treatment being exposed all over the world this week. You may not see his like again as any footballer with half a brain would surely not want to be within a 100 miles of your two-faced fans. A sorry end to a former great club.

I admit to finding it odd myself.

As I've said, I think Ade had everyone right to do it. I think it was dangerous, and I think any **** with a half-a-brain would've realised - but I cant knock the lad too much for giving it back.

What pisses me off is that the police at the Boro game last year had a witch hunt for City fans even publishing their photos in the media yet you can bet your life GMP will do such thing with the Arsenal fans.

Perhaps it would be more practical for the Met police to publish their images in the London Evening Standard. Why would GMP waste time trying to identify people who more than likely live 200 miles away, in the MEN?
