I've watched the cup final today in the pub which was full of RAGs and was looking round when they won the game. The reaction of RAGs is unbelievable! Ive seen more enthusiasm when someone spills a pint! All I saw was a small cheer and then people continuing there conversations. They are so spoilt, win a major trophy and no joy or celebration. If City won the mickey mouse cup (1) I would not be in the pub I'd be there and (2) I'd be celebrating for at least a week! I had an outburst and let them know they are all spoiled wankers and that being glory seeking arseholes has ruined the game for themselves. How can winning a tournament not make you happy I fail to understand. When City finally do win something I cant wait to celebrate and show the RAG twats some real emotion and joy and the reaction of TRUE fans.

The joy is not to watch them winning; it's what their fans do when they don't win, not just a trophy but a throw in or a corner. Talk about Colonel Blimp! The blood pressure is off the scale.

and unfortunatly i do believe a proportion of our fans are starting to behave in this way, but without the trophys to back up the arrogance

To be fair, if we ever reach a point where we've won umpteen league titles, a couple of European Cups, World championships and shitloads of FA Cups, we probably won't be going beserk over winning the fizzy lager pot either.
You can't compare us winning it now to them winning it now. It would mean so much to us, where as to them it comes at the bottom of a big pile of other achievments. Can't really argue with that.

I know what you mean but I can't imagine any City fan that was a fan before ADUG era not being overjoyed by winning anything, look how we celebrated getting into the playoffs or getting promoted at Ewood Park, 16000 mancs on the pitch at an away game. Football still means something to us and I hope we never loose that emotion.
