We have had a great season and 2 Cups in the bag, real progress in the rebuild that doesn't need that much adding to it

BUT boy I am sick of all the cheating going on with the VAR and match officials and referees in the Premier League towards Manchester City.
It must be so hard if you're a City player knowing every time you cross the white line, you're getting done over ? Doku has been kicked off the park and had a couple of injuries because of it, He's my player of the season because he just has to take it every week,

Same with Haaland, every week gets manhandled and just smiles knowing what's going on
It's CHEATING ROBBING without having to wear a mask ? It's so clear they don't even try to hide it

WELL DONE to everybody at City, Great season, double silverware and 2nd in the league
 
I'm kind of glad it's not gone to the last day cos I'm 99% sure the Bottlers would have beaten Palace reserves if they really needed to

I could see a situation where we were 4-0 up against a completely unarsed Villa and Arsenal are 0-0 going into added on time... then VAR gets involved where it shouldn't (like West Ham)

That would have been 100 times more painful than last night, which I was over in 10 minutes to be honest

Funnily enough was thinking the same this morning. Feels like a weight off the shoulders (until next season).
 
I walked out of the pub last night and simply said 'oh well'.
When Haaland was flagged offside last night I simply smiled. All season they’ve openly fucked us over, that was just yet another openly bent decision, one of many the players have had to put up with.

We have supposedly had a shit season, 2 cups and second in the league fighting all the time against Pigmob, the red cartel, the Premier League and the media.

If thats a shit season, I can't wait for the next one.
 
Not arsed now, it’s a meh feeling, still pissed the FA cup isn’t the last game. Glad the World Cup is on as we will hear less about Arsenal then, I just hope PSG crush them. The shit going on with Pep has sort of diminished things a little as well, I thought he would be going but the last week has been a rollercoaster and this just pisses me off at the uncertainty. Roll on 22 August when we start again, I dont count the community shield.
 
You know what blues. Let them have their title.
Let’s see what happens with Pep and maresca. Next season, whatever happens we will be back and fighting for it again.
 
Could easily have seen Arsenal drop points on the last day had we taken them to it; especially as goal difference had essentially turned in our favour after they scraped past Burnley 1-0 at home. Slipped up upteen times this season and looked far from convincing. They fucked up that much we sort of found ourselves in a title race out of nowhere. Added to the the potential 4 years of scar tissue they have on top. Shame we didn't beat Bournemouth and an early goal for ourselves against Villa knowing they had to win their game would have been a real gut check (something I still have real question marks with them over).

Desperate for PSG to crush them now. I'm pretty much on a main stream media blackout currently and would have to continue it for about a month if they somehow fluked the Champions League on top.

In many places no, we didn't deserve the FA cup last year but it felt like a robbery because they handballed it outside the box.

If it was fair fight with scheduling, refereeing, var, box wrestling, etc then whatever. But we've been hammered more than bonnie blue this year with this shit.

Everything possible has gone against City this season, VAR, Match Referees, even the fixtures like the Bournemouth game on a Tuesday the 19th, So we had to play Palace then a Saturday FA Cup final, Bournemouth's last game was on the 9th ? Look the Premier League 100% did us over on many things and Pep and City can call them out with the evidence if they wanted

Did we deserve to be treated so badly by the officials ? If we did beat the 115 charges and it was some sort of payback by the Premier League, then all I can say is Manchester City have the right to defend ourselves because the Premier League charged us, so why damage us with cheating
 
You are all prob right but I was curious to see what Sun would have brought. Most likely Arse would win but there was at least a 25% chance IMO of Palace getting something. And how utterly sweet that would have been
 
I hope Pep gives Bernado, Johnny, Rico, Nathan and a few others some time on the pitch on Sunday, but he will want to win his final game at the Etihad with the North Stand expansion. If we don’t fill it, there will be pathetic banter from the media and other fans, but it has been a pretty good season, given the circumstances.
