The squad is magnificent, it may be possible I am about to witness, not just the best, but also the most exciting partnership in Silva and Aguero since Bell and Lee. These two should be even better.

The best squad in the Prem, and we should have a good tilt at the Champ's League.

BUT we are City! So how will we fuck it up?

These were some of our faults last season:
20th in the league at scoring in the last ten minutes
Shocking away record against the top half teams (P9 W1 D2 L6 F6 A13 Pts5/27)
Shite against the top 6 away (P5 W0 D2 L3 F1 A8 Pts2/15) we didn't even try to attack let alone create chances or score goals against top six sides away from home
We let too many teams have too long on the ball
We weren't ruthless enough
Sometimes we were be happy to sit on a 1-0 lead
We scored just 60 goals last season (the average for league champions since it became 20 teams is 78.4 goals a season)
Poor away in Europe (P5 W1 D2 L2 F3 A7)
Not enough tempo at times
Not enough pace in the squad (especially forward thinking players)
No counter attack game (away from home that's suicidle)
A lack of creativity (we're just a Silva suspension or injury from being ordinary!)
... etc etc etc ...

Please, everyone, don't for one minute think we'll be firing in all these areas this season. We will be better, yes(!), but we'll still have many faults!

The ref's aren't fucking bent. Christ. It's just that, just like teams, some ref's are good and some ref's are shit. Sometimes we'll get a good ref like Mike Dean, Phil Dowd (I don't know how he gets so much shit because he's good!) or Martin Atkinson; and sometimes we'll get shit a shit ref like Michael Jones, Peter Walton or Mark Clattenburg.

Recent History has shown that if we are top or second on New Years day we are in for a serious shout for the League.Then we will be able to seroiusly judge our chances. A lot of people are getting to giddy after one game against poor opposition. We will also see how resiliant we are after we have played the top sides in the first half of the season.If we are still up there come March - April and still in the CL thats the real serious test as the games come thick and fast playing weekend/midweek. We have the squad to cope but the innevitable injuries we will get and who to will have a big bearing.

This is the only thing that might F*@% it up.

These players will sweep aside most opposing teams as long as they are not overly constrained by a cautious formation and/or tactics. Particularly when the other team packs the midfield and parks the bus. Let them play and they will destroy most teams. We will have our off days and dodgy refs will steal some points as usual, but if we take these blips on the chin the rest of it should be a pleasure to watch and take us close to silverware again at the very least.

well first of all i dont see football in the same light as what it appears fixer went through.

i also did'nt say we would'nt lose a game all season so i see no reason to have a "word with myself"

the bent refs have no interest in a tyne/wear derby, they just make sure your lot get every decision going, ask gary neville last season how he stayed on the pitch and was it vidic v blackpool that denied them a clear pen which in the end relegated them.

very honest that, very fair, let the little club lose 40m as long as the cheats win the league.
