No.

Di Stafano, Garincha, Pele, Cruyff, Maradonna, Zidane, Messi (would anyone class CRonaldo in this list? I think I would really)

There are always players like Ronaldo, Eto'o, Iniesta, Gerrard from 2002-2008 was the best midfeilder in the world.. who are just that next level down. I think Agüero will be of this level. No shame in that. In fact, if this is the case, we're in for an unbelievably fantastic era with Kun!

Ronaldo is easily in that first bracket, especially if you're classing C.Ronaldo in there. If you Kun performs to the same level as Ronaldo then we've got a hell of a player , but lets give him more than Swansea at home to prove that he's one of the best in the world.

Of course it sounds ridiculous put like that.

On the other hand, I find some of the OTT regard for Messi also faintly ridiculous.

To think the Messi is so far and away the best in the world, that he is virtually incomparable, is as absurd as to judge Aguero on the basis of 2 goals against Swansea.

And in any case, Aguero's worldwide reputation does not depend on his performance for 30 minutes last night.

Take Silva's precision in passing, hold up in play and mix it with Kun's speed off the ball and couple it with the same speed on the ball. Then you have Messi.

After all the shit given to the rags and sky about the tom cleverley wankfest after his good 45 minutes I don't think we should be getting too giddy yet.

He is quite obviously a class act but not at the same level as Messi.

Let's not get like the Tottenham fans did when Bale scored against Inter. Sergio came on against a tired Swansea team and had a blinder. I won't take his performance off him, but let's not get carried away here.

Aguero is top class. But Messi is on another planet to everyone else in world football.
