So long, you'll miss me when I'm gone.

That, and the fact that they've spent next to nothing on players since 2005. Oh and look, no spending = no trophies.
I think we all know we'd rather have their "Pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-miss. Rinse. Repeat."™ global footballing brand, than a trophy.

I hope we'll be bumping this thread in a while to add "Fabregas" to the list :D
Oh definitely.

Our game this season at the Emirates might have pissed a lot of people off, but City and Arsenal both got exactly the same points. We forced them in to shooting from far out. Our formation and tactics were far more effective than theirs because we stopped them from doing what they do, but they didn't stop us from what we did.

We've made a few mistakes in our sales. The first one I remember was Franny, big Niall was obvously another. SWP was a bit forced . We went through a bit of a phase of selling decent players like Michael Hughes and Hendry and before that Owen and Barnes but the one who slipped most under the radar and was most obvious in retrospect was Paul Power I reckon.

Nicolas Anelka when he left City, we couldn't hit a barn door for about 3 years afterwards.

Xabi Alonso is an absolute twat btw.

Arsenal is so many players now it's ridiculous, Lehmann/Seaman, Campbell, Cole, Ljungberg, Pires, Vieira, Silva, Henry, Bergkamp.

Chelsea Robben.

Liverpool Riise.

West Ham Tevez, and before that all their academy lads they had to sell off.

Boro with Juninho, then Mendieta, Yakubu, Viduka, Schwarzer etc.

Real Madrid have dropped so many bollocks over the years it's incredible.
