1) We are the team to beat this year, with Chelsea playing basically their starting XI and us having 7/8 players who could have come in and made a difference the dominance we showed was scary.
2) We dont need RvP
3) Zaba and De Jong are warriors who need to be kept
4) 3-5-2 looked decent especially with Milner and Kolarov as wing backs
5) Tevez is back ! All this talk of needing a new striker, well we have him in the shape of Carlos. CT SA MB and ED are good enough to battle on all fronts
6) We are the best fans in the land and all the world

Anything else you guys and girls learnt from yesterdays win ?

al the above.

Chelsea did have several quality players missing too. Gary Cahill, that Spanish winger and some Brazilian newcomer spring immediately to mind.

That we won the community shield, errr against 10 men and with 6 extra minutes to help us !

As de niro says, all of the above plus

7) Never, ever travel on the M6 to go to Villa Park again!! (but at least I was only 5 minutes late, not like others who didn't get there until half time) Next time I will programme the Sat Nav to avoid motorways. Mind you by the time I climbed the 93 steps to the Trinity Upper I was 10 minutes late!!!!!

Mata played, Cahill didnt play because they had Luiz and Terry and do you really think Oscar will start ahead of Hazard,Lampard,Mata and Torres ?
