so who are we supporting saturday?

Belgium got them at 20-1 at the start for the overall winners a sort of outside bet. Not much cash in backing Brazil or Argentina really.
 
Argentina have a better chance of winning it so id rather they went through

Knowing our luck, Belgium will beat Argentina and then Holland will beat Belgium and that rag twat and their new manager will win the world cup

Could you imagine. Vinny dives in and knackers his groin and Kun jumps out the way and does his hamstring ;-)
 
Tough call, isn't it? If Vinny somehow got injured between now and then that would solve the problem for me. By the way, wasn't he supposed to be injured even last night? No sign of it whatsoever, but that man plays through pain, like so many of our lads. He was enormous.
But while I'm on it, did anybody notice how great Zabman played against Switzerland? Best game so far from him, and one of the best players in a generally unconvincing team. Over and over again, he offered them the overlap option which he does so well for us, and was usually ignored. Argentina would have been much more dangerous if they'd taken up that option more often, because a cross cutting back away from the keeper is that much more tricky for keeper and defence than one being put in towards them at an oblique angle — which is what Argentina kept doing, mechanically.
