so who is getting relegated. ????

I think Blackburn have a great chance of going down. The manager seems to be the puppet of owners so clueless they make Peter Swales look like Alf Ramsey.

The behind-the-scenes trouble at Newcastle suggests they are going to have a hard time of it. Barton, for all his faults, was their best player last year and they have kicked him out. No sign they are going to splash the Carroll cash.

Wigan were lucky to escape last year - good manager though, who may be their saving grace.

People always write the newly promoted teams off and with good reason, but I think losing barton and nolan is going to crucify newcastle. They were two very experienced, decent box to box midfielders who provided the team with a good backbone, which is now all but gone. I actually think they would have done very well this season if they'd have kept those two but I just think that they were both far too influential for Newcastle to lose.
Which of the promoted sides can you see surviving then if Newcastle do go down? All three just look poor to me.

im saying wigan norwich and swansea.

wigan have lost key players and only just managed to survive last season.

norwich and swansea are not premier league quality. hopefully we will show them what to expect!

I watch very little championship mate so I can't really comment and say whether they'll be good enough. There's been enough championship sides surprise us over the years and usually all three don't go down. Maybe you're right and even without Barton and Nolan Newcastle will still be better than them, but I can't see anything other than a relegation dogfight for newcastle this season and I think there's a decent chance they'll go unless they pick up a couple of the right players
