So who's going to Paris then?

Had a great time. Just a little tip for anyone going on future Euro away days. Don't kid yourself that you can do an all nighter, you can't, you will miss your flight and end up in fucking Doncaster!

Great city, great game, up LE BLUES!

Well that was a good trip.
First time the whole sf family were all able to go to a Euro away together since the Munich game during Octoberfest.
Went with some good friends as well and had a ball on the train to Euston and then on the Eurostar, all went like clockwork even found the hotel within minutes of leaving Gare du Nord.
Met up with another bluemooner who had scouted out a place with cheap beer for the night.
Ticket place was forty minutes from our hotel and we were there before it opened.
Then did some sight seeing before stopping for a beer on the Champs Elysees, bloody €10 for a half litre! Then on to some bars near the stadium where we went in the one rocking bar where the bar staff seemed to think it was ok to overcharge and short change everyone, robbing .....
Got in the ground early to avoid any problems and was told to sit anywhere! As it was early we got on the front row of the second tier.
Great result, back to Gare du Nord for more beer and celebratory shots before going for a meal at 1:45am.
Train home at 11 and then back in Manchester for 3:30pm
A very expensive trip, but can't complain as it was so cheap in Kiev

where were you drinking about at Gare du Nord
we were just up from the Hideout

I'm not sure of the bar's name, could be Belushi?, but was a sports bar with pool tables on an upper level from a noisy dance floor

Yea bellushi's, we stayed in the hostel it was part of. Very lively bar and a lot of blues there.

Had a superb time, no trouble, just a very expensive place to drink!

Still there with the family... Getting fleeced left right and centre in Euro Disney

2 hour drive up to Calais in the morning for a midday eurotunnel crossing

Not gonna get back in time for the WBA match so I expect us to score half a dozen !!

We were paying 7 euros for two bottles of Heineken up until 22.00hrs which i don't class as expensive considering you're in Paris?

Went upto Sacre Cour yesterday before our flight home and the small selection of bars behind in i must say a lovely setting was EUR11 a pint.

Bloody hell, i must admit at the bottom of the hill i noticed quite a few undesirables knocking around.
It was right in front of the church, unfortunately it had her money and phone in it, but at least not her passport. Which is why I don't think we should have to carry our passports around with us on the day of the game, it goes against any sensible advice for safety.

Stayed near palace de Clichy, lots of shops of an adult nature, and plenty of sex shows, wife and daughter took one in by mistake, what a scream!! HA ha, did moulin rouge too seems a bargain with a bottle of champagne thrown in for the price compared to the piss poor beer you lot were getting fleeced!
Anyway great trip,

We were there today. As my dad walked up the ramp so big lad got a hold of him and tried tie something to him and no doubt tried to get in his pockets. Horrible area couldn't wait to get away. Back in London now just waiting for the train to Crewe. Up the blues

Great trip.

was in belushis bar all of the first night except for a quick pint at some place down the road from there. Stayed till it shut. They charged us €7 all night on two bottles of Heineken.

Next day went to the top of the tower. I has a bad stomach so had to relief myself at the top.

few bars around some of the other districts before settling at a bar called hideout till about 6.30. Metro to the ground and in for about 8.30.

Was out again at hideout bar and some 24 hour place facing Parc du nord till about 3am. Was pissed by then.

Met usual faces but also some Denton lads. Good crack.
