So who's going to Paris then?

Guy who i manage at work, big blue, has been off for 2 days with the "flu". I've just seen a photo of the **** on Facebook in Paris!
Grounds for instant sacking but we will see. Il see what he says when he is back in work when i ask him how "le flu" was
Ha ha brilliant. Love stories like this.

Well that was a good trip.
First time the whole sf family were all able to go to a Euro away together since the Munich game during Octoberfest.
Went with some good friends as well and had a ball on the train to Euston and then on the Eurostar, all went like clockwork even found the hotel within minutes of leaving Gare du Nord.
Met up with another bluemooner who had scouted out a place with cheap beer for the night.
Ticket place was forty minutes from our hotel and we were there before it opened.
Then did some sight seeing before stopping for a beer on the Champs Elysees, bloody €10 for a half litre! Then on to some bars near the stadium where we went in the one rocking bar where the bar staff seemed to think it was ok to overcharge and short change everyone, robbing .....
Got in the ground early to avoid any problems and was told to sit anywhere! As it was early we got on the front row of the second tier.
Great result, back to Gare du Nord for more beer and celebratory shots before going for a meal at 1:45am.
Train home at 11 and then back in Manchester for 3:30pm
A very expensive trip, but can't complain as it was so cheap in Kiev

We are not, we're not really here.....

Definitely recommend the Eurostar for travelling to France and beyond.Decent service, very efficient and much more room than on an aircraft.
Only gripe was that Michael boring bastard Owen and Danny robbed a living mills were on-board.
Plus a gobby carpet fitter from Denton ;-)

Went from spending £62 in 3 days in kiev to doing almost that in one round in Paris!
Another great trip admittedly beforehand I had reservations about Paris , their fans, the police. All of it it turns out unnecessary. Didn't hear of or see any issues not even a crossed word nor any blues fighting amongst each other.
Thought the police were fantastic and had it well sorted afterwards walking us back to the Metro where they actually had trains waiting for us (take note metrolink )
Actually turned out to be one of the most chilled and relaxed euro aways of recent times

Posted elsewhere but this more appropriate.Took my 17 year old lad with me and had a fantastic time.Met some great Blues(as always)but a big shout out to a group of Blues who stayed and drank near Mercat Sembal Metro station.Took my lad under their wings a bit as I couldnt get a ticket.....hope you are on here.Amongst them was a young lad who we spoke to Friday whilst watching the Barca match who my son wanted to thank but didnt get his details.Had a laugh with PSG fans in a bar watching the game as I was the only Blue in there at the start. Was joined by other Blues who had been thrown out the home end as the game progressed.I feel absolutely shit and have no money left so must have had a great time. Note: Sorry didnt meet up with you Squirty, the offer to join you on the Eurostar was much appreciated, maybe next time!

I'm still here and don't leave till Friday night. UP THE BLUES

Must've been alright; considering we stumbled out of a small restaurant near the ground called Little Boules at 4am... with a £260 bar bill. Ouch!

Eurostar back at 11am French time and back in sunny old Manchester at 4pm - Can't argue with that. Great trip all-round.
